About

Hi! My name is Ellen Shaw

I’m an actor, singer, storyteller, and director recently relocated to New York City. I find joy in creating meaningful art that inspires, and I’m drawn to storytelling that is honest and full of heart. I am currently making my Winter Park Playhouse debut as Alison in Never Can Say Goodbye, the 70's Beehive Musical in Orlando, FL.

After graduating with my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2024, I moved to Jacksonville, FL, where I performed professionally at Alhambra Theatre & Dining. My credits there include The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Rosa Bud), My Fair Lady, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, among others.

I’m also passionate about inspiring the next generation of artists and creating spaces where young performers can grow in confidence, creativity, and a genuine love for the storytelling. During my time in Jacksonville, I was involved in the local theatre community by directing children’s productions, teaching Primary Ballet, and performing as a party princess.

When I’m not on stage, you can usually find me running my small macaron business, exploring the city with my husband, trying a new coffee shop with friends, leading worship at my church, or visiting family in Orlando, FL, where I grew up.
